Al Stone
Is known for creating an intimate exchange of energy with his listeners and audiences. Stone uniquely blends his styles and influences with a new evolved hot Rockin Blues sound. Al is known for his orginal blues, blues rock and funk style straight from Chciago but developed in Florida's pan handle. Al Stone carries with him an overwhelmingly interesting history. Stone was born in Chicago with a love for the blues. In 1979 he caught the attention of Bluesman Jimmy Johnson and was invited to sit in at the famed Chicago Blues club the Kingston Mines. There Stone sat in with Jimmy Johnson, Left Dizz, Big Moose and others. After that time Al was invited to perform with Bob Mandarino, Eddie Campbell and a tribute for Phil Guy. ![]() While touring the modern day Chittlin Circuit, Stone settled in Jacksonville, FL where he was immediately introduced to many of the best performers in the Jacksonville area. At this time Al Stone recorded "I Want It All." (Which will release on EGR May 15th 2010) Stone was able to surround himself with an allstar lineup for this project they included: Debbie Bailey (singer for Lynyrd Skynyrd) Banner Thomas (oringal bassist for Molly Hatchet), Robbie Morries (from Johnny Van Zant Band), Erik Guess (from Cotton Mouth) and the late Denny Best (from Big Twist & the Mellow Fellows.) Al Stone is a great bluesman and entertainer and he has gained a good following through out the south. His soon to release Cd "I Want It All" will be avaialble worldwide on June 1st through Electro Glide Records.
